So this Senior is extra special to me because she just happens to be MY daughter!! It was really kind of surreal taking Ashley’s senior portraits. One minute I was fine and the next it would hit me…Oh my goodness….this is my kid, my senior!! Our daily lives would be so different the next year! I’m not going to see her be-bopping into the house saying “Hi Mom!”. I’m not going to have her racing home between her classes at Liberty and her Collin Classes to grab a quick bite to eat, scurrying out, leaving a mess in the kitchen, which I loved and was annoyed with at the same time. Coming in after her LHS Varsity Volleyball games all smiles, so happy doing her thing and being with “her people”. But mostly, I tried to just cherish it. Every single moment of it. All of those lasts of Senior year. Sorry for the extra long post! Ashley is now a freshman playing volleyball for Texas A&M, Commerce.

We took the first set of images in Florida while on our family’s summer vacation. This is our happy place, our home away from home!!

Back home in Dallas, we explored the Bishop Arts District as well as nearby downtown Dallas areas.
