Meet Erin, a competitive swimmer, and recent graduate from Independence High School, and one of my Class of 2020 KPP RoleMODELS. Erin’s sparkling green eyes and big smile can truly light up a room! She is kind hearted and thoughtful, strong and smart and I feel so very thankful to know her!!

Erin was one of the models in a Boho styled shoot we did and I just love the shots we captured here!! We also did a shoot at a Christmas tree farm, a Valentines Day themed studio shoot, and a college t-shirt shoot at the end of the school year.

The best advice she’s ever received is “to speak softly and carry a big stick. Which means to always be humble.” Erin’s dream job is to become a Pediatric Dentist. And I do believe this beautiful and bright girl who almost always has a book with her will realize this dream! One of the people Erin admires most is Missy Franklin, an American former competitive swimmer and five-time Olympic gold medalist.

This determined and tenacious young woman had a goal…to swim in college. Well, you know what?! She reached that goal and will be continuing her education and swimming for Ouachita Baptist University this fall! She’s a great example of why you should never give up on your dreams!!

Erin’s favorite RoleMODEL memory: “When we did my swim photos and you walked across the bulkhead with all the blocks and almost fell in! And all of your crazy positions to try and get the best camera angle! Those always made me laugh!”
