When people ask if I photograph senior guys, the answer is yes! I sure do! While the guys may not typically be as excited about having pictures taken as the girls, I know it’s just as important for a boy's mom to have great photos of her son documenting this momentous time in his life.
Senior photos are an important part of your senior year, and my goal is to make it a great experience, for the guys too! Most will tell me they are “just doing this for mom.”

I want you to start your session feeling organized and fully prepared for your senior photos shoot. Because of this, I take the time to work with and get to know my seniors before they step in front of my camera.
We’ll discuss the vibe that best suits your personality and decide on a location that best represents your style. Every senior guy receives a Guys Style Guide, created just for the guys with advice on choosing wardrobe colors, flattering styles and suggestions of extras items to help you complete different looks that represent you and your style and interests.

Getting Camera Ready
Planning and prep is key for a great photo session
It’s your picture day! Your session will most likely begin about 2 hours before sunset or just after sunrise, depending on the time of the year. I’m very easy going and I’ll hype you up in a fun, relaxed kind of way. We will shoot in a few different spots within our chosen location using different kinds of light, backgrounds and poses to give you a variety of looks. I’ll show you the back of my camera a few times so you can see just how great you actually look! Easy peasy!
Your Session Day
It’s actually not so bad, trust me!
After your session I’ll begin going through the images we took and selecting the very best ones from your shoot. I’ll hand edit each one using professional editing software, removing bumps and bruises and minor imperfections that shouldn't be there. My editing style is clean and natural looking. Look for a sneak peek on instagram and facebook within 24-48 hours and your proof gallery will be ready within 2-3 weeks.

We do offer digital files but also believe that creating products for our clients to hold and enjoy is so important. Kristi was absolutely fantastic! I have a son who only has three interests: basketball, music, and, importantly for this review, clothes! Kristi was spot on! Her understanding of how to find complementary colors in the background, lighting, etc., was perfect. She understood what he wanted and completely delivered. Kristi photographed both of my boys for their Senior Portraits at two different locations that fit their personalities. She did an extraordinary job of capturing their natural looks and smiles...which can be difficult for many guys. Her use of light, background and focus stems from innate artistry and years of experience. I would highly recommend Kristi!
